Revised spam filtering
10-12-2007

Since November 27, 2007, email messages with a spam score over 10.0 are automatically deleted.
There is hardly any chance that false positives will be amongst such messages.

Email messages still marked as possible spam, are messages with a spam score between 5.0 and 10.0.
By defining a filter in your mail programme, you can regulate that these messages no longer enter your new mail folder or inbox.
If you had already installed such mail filter, no adjustments need to be made.

With this new measure, the quantity of 'might-be-SPAM' is reduced with about 90%. As well, it has now become a bit easier to pick out false positives from the messages marked as possible spam.

More information about the revised spam filtering and setting up personal mail filters can be found at Filtering mail for spam.
